Community Outreach
WE'RE OUT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, EVERYWHERE WE GO.
Our goal is to help you build a satisfying career while we build a safer community. AAA offers programs to combat distracted and impaired driving, improve awareness of traffic safety laws, promote environmental/automotive research, educate drivers on autonomous vehicle advancements, and advocate for safer and more effective roads. And we proudly support the United Way in the communities where we live and work.
AAA supports your goals at work and beyond
Our MyClubCares Community Impact Program provides financial, in-kind, and volunteer support for select charitable organizations and activities that align with our AAA mission, values, and programs. Employees can give back to their local communities by participating in donation campaigns and volunteer events. Our top charity partners are United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and the American Red Cross.
Paid Volunteer time
All employees are eligible for up to 8 hours of paid volunteer time per year to volunteer with approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Virtual volunterring opportunities are eligible for paid volunteer time.
United Way
One of the many ways we give back to the community is through our long-term commitment to United Way. Our annual giving campaign helps fund education and career programs for youth, financial stability programs for adults, food distribution for all ages, and housing for homeless families. Employees across our enterprise also contribute items such as food, school supplies, and holiday toys to donation drives. Our United Way Ambassadors program provides leadership opportunities for 200 employees who coordinate and assist with campaign events across the country.
Habitat for Humanity
Homelessness is a widespread challenge across the country and we’re doing our part to help. Our sponsorships with Habitat for Humanity in five of our largest metropolitan locations help provide housing for families. Employees also volunteer on Habitat’s home construction sites.
Red Cross
We support the American Red Cross by holding employee blood drives and donation drives for communities impacted by severe weather and natural disasters.
Community Safety Programs
AAA’s history is deeply rooted in promoting community safety, with programs including DUI awareness and prevention summits, car seat safety events, teen safety and education programs, senior mobility programs, and our holiday Tipsy Tow program.
