The Career Site Privacy Notice apply to the Automobile Club of Southern California (“Club”),Pleasant Holidays (“Pleasant”) and their respective affiliates. “We”, “us”, or “our” shall refer to both Club, Pleasant and their respective affiliates. Collectively, both entities may be referred to as “organization.”  
  
CAREER SITE PRIVACY NOTICE

This Privacy Notice ("Notice") applies to the Club and Pleasant career site operated by Phenom People Inc. ("Phenom") on behalf of the Club and Pleasant.

When "we”, "us", or "our" is used, it shall refer to the Club, Pleasant and Phenom (the host of this site.) When "you", "user", or "your" is used, it shall refer to you the applicant and user ofthis site.

When you submit your application for employment and use our site, we collect personal information about you. This information includes, but is not limited to, your name; address; e-mail address; password that you set; telephone number; information about your education and occupation background; skills and experience; awards; memberships and affiliations; activities and interests; information imported by you and/or connections from third party sites; information about third parties, such as references or contacts, which you provide to us with the third parties’ express written consent to do so; your resume, cover letters, work examples, and other documents; your preferences; your age, gender, race or ethnicity, if permitted by federal, state or local law and you choose to provide it. We may use the information we collect about you in a variety of ways, including processing your application for employment and communicating job opportunities to you, performing background checks, operating and improving our sites, responding to you, and preventing security breaches.

We may share your information when we work with service providers (including Phenom) that provide us support services such as applicant management, and background (and when permitted by law, credit checks), and skills analysis.

We may also disclose your information if we believe that the disclosure is required by law. We collect information about you by way of a variety of technologies including cookies, which contain information that can later be read by a web server. We mainly use cookies to allow you to access and use our career site, to help us analyze and estimate traffic on our career site, and to remember information for you to save you the trouble of re-entering information.


You may elect to receive information about our careers when you sign up for our Talent Community. The information you receive will be based on the information you provide in your Talent Community profile. If you opt out of receiving Talent Community communications from us, you may still receive e-mails about the status of your application(s).

If you want to cancel your Talent Community account in Phenom, please contact us as described in the FAQ section of our Career Site. We will make every effort to promptly respond to your request.

We protect your information using technical, physical, and administrative security measures toreduce the risk of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or modification of your information and have required Phenom to use similar measures to reduce risk. While we have implemented these security measures, no system or network can be 100% secure.

We may retain your information as long as necessary and appropriate to comply with applicable legal standards. Once the information is submitted, you cannot later delete this information. If you are offered a position with our organization, this information may be transferred into our Human Resources systems and used to manage the new hire process. Any personal information you submit may become part of your personnel file and may be used for other employment/work-related purposes. Your information may be destroyed in accordance with our retention policy.

As part of the hiring process, you will be asked to create a log-in username and password. You must keep this information confidential as it can be used to electronically sign and submit additional applications.

We do not intend for our career site or online services to be used by anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we may have collected information about a child, please contact us as described in our FAQ section of our career site.

This Privacy Notice is effective as of the date noted at the top of this webpage. We may updateit from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Privacy Notice on this page and change the date at the top of this webpage. We encourage you to review updates by checking the date at the top of this webpage. For California employees, please refer to the CCPA Worker Privacy Notice below as an addition to this Corporate Privacy Notice.
